Tokens are prepaid service credit, displayed in USD. They are not a fixed number of model input or output tokens. Review the maximum cost for each task before starting; the final usage charge stays within that approved maximum. Applicable tax appears at checkout.
No monthly subscription, seat fee or separate Growth add-on is required for these ten assistants. Existing non-AI editing, validation, preview and download controls do not consume paid tokens. Printing, distribution and advertising purchases are external costs, not included usage.
You remain the author
Start with research, an existing manuscript or a finished edition. Use one assistant or all ten. The book context, source decisions, versions and balance stay together. Review a maximum cost before starting paid AI. Unused reservations return to the balance; a rejected delivery cannot silently become a successful paid result.
Guest or account
The paid runtime supports a private guest workspace with a recovery key and downloads. An account is optional. Save the recovery key before buying credit; it controls access to your guest books and balance. You can later attach the workspace to a verified account.
Optional automatic reload
One-time purchases never enable saved-card charging. When automatic reload is activated for the deployment, separately authorize the amount, balance threshold and monthly card limit including tax. Pause future reloads at any time. An already-submitted payment may still complete. Unknown payment outcomes stop further automatic charges until reconciled.
Spending permission is separate
The default AI allowance is $50, not free credit. Set a custom limit or $0 to pause new paid AI. Each next $50 requires renewed approval. Buying credit, signing in or reloading a page never increases that allowance.

Use the workspace, previews and local checks for free. AI drafting and review use prepaid service credits from your shared balance. Review the maximum charge before each request. Your default allowance is $50; set another limit or explicitly approve the next allowance in Billing. Reader demo-credit prices have no cash value.
